What's New in Texas Child Support Law

Child Support Calculation Change

Texas Family Code section 154.125 has been amended to presume that the guideline calculations shall be applied to net resources of $7500.00 per month or less.

This statute had previously stated $6000 per month as the presumed maximum net resources for calculation of child support for many years.
